truck parts Day 5 - Today's the Day - Gaining Altitude Series

Today our route takes us west across the high plains to the Rocky Mountains. We navigate through Denver and head west on I-70 to exit 205 and then head northwest on Hwy 9 which feeds into Hwy 40 west to Steamboat Springs. We check out one National Forest Campground and then move on to choose another. Eventually we find a really nice spot at 9,107 feet and we're finally as far away from the Georgia heat as we can be. We decide to rest up from the rapid pace journey and we pay for 3 nights at our first campground along the journey.
